If you missed it, you can find it <a href="http://the-car-addict.blogspot.com/2011/06/golden-delorean-part-1.html">HERE</a>.<br /><br /><br />Once there was something People were very attracted to it. It wasshiny and everyone wanted to own it - Gold.<br />But todays Gold is still very likely seen an not 'everyday', especially not as a color for a Car. Or a house/hotel. And why not bring these both together?<br /><br />A golden DeLorean, if the car isnt alown something special, in front of a golden Hotel. Can you poke me right now please?!<br /><br />No, dreams come true someday and so deloman.de and I went to Austria, to the 'Hotel am See' in Hard, straight at the Lake of Constance to see if these both gold shades work together well.<br /><br />As you can see at the pictures below - the both match together perfectly!<br /><br />But, unfortunately, the hotels covered with brass and this color shade won't last long and it will change its shade. The initial price was 1,995 US$ - what a price in today's time!!<br />The Maverick should be placed in the gap after they stoppped producing the Ford Falcon, and also should play in the same league of 'Muscle Cars' as the Mustang does. As you know, the Mustang was  and still is THE muscle car and some dont actually know about the existance of the Maverick. (Fortunately its me to present you all the 'lost' cars of the past 100 years! :D)<br />As the most other Muscle Cars, too, it had a loong hood and a fastback roof with an shot deck and a wheelbase from about 2,6 meters. <br />And, not to forget, they had 210 hp (160 kW) - wroom! :)<br /><br />In 1969 they produced nerly 579,000 Mavericks - but where are they today? I looked for some at a German Car-selling-site - found none!! What a pitty, I really like the Maverick! :(<br />What I really like too, the names ot the exterior paints were like: Anti-Establish Mint, Hulla Blue or also Dresden Blue, Raven Black, Candyapple Red or Wimbledon White. <br />In 1971 they introduced the four-door model and also there was a vinyl roof available.<br /><table class="toc" id="toc"><tbody><tr> <td><br /></td><td><br /></td><td><br /></td><td><br /></td><td><br /></td><td><br /></td><td><br /></td><td><br /></td><td><br /></td><td><br /></td><td><br /></td></tr></tbody></table><br />Now some pictures . .
